Winners of Health and Wellbeing Business 2021 at Red Rose Awards

YOLO Wellbeing become winners of Health and Wellbeing Business 2021 at Lancashire Business View’s Red Rose Awards last week.

Businesses from the length and breadth of the county vied for titles across a range of categories, with only the best of the best, as selected by a panel of expert judges, progressing through to the shortlist and a rigorous interview stage before being rewarded for their excellence.

Cheryle Britton, our Managing Director said “We are thrilled to become winners of Health and Wellbeing Business at the Red Rose Awards. Lancashire has a wealth of quality health and wellbeing providers, who really care about the communities we serve, so to win this award makes us incredibly proud. Thank you.”

The Judges said “YOLO offer something different and scalable which is based on their experience and an ambitious five year growth plan.

The offer of on-site massage to improve mental and physical health was seen as innovative which, together with evidence-based impact and compelling experience of strong business engagement during the pandemic, made them worthy winners.”

Event founder Richard Slater, also the publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine, said: “The Red Rose Awards, now in its eleventh year, are very hotly contested, so YOLO Wellbeing should be very proud that they have seen off all the competition to win this award!

Long-standing ITV weather presenter Emma Jesson compered the evening, with entertainment from MH Productions, HONK Lancashire’s youth street band and The Tracks.

Headline sponsors for the event were Forbes Solicitors and Barclays. The official judging partner of the awards is Blackpool and The Fylde College.

The charity partner for Red Rose Awards 2020 is Cash for Kids and funds were raised at the awards event to support their work in Lancashire.

Since launching the awards in 2011 they have steadily grown and become the centrepiece attraction for the business community in the county with the sell-out ceremony taking place at the magnificent Winter Gardens Blackpool.
