Gentle manipulation of the scalp has been proven, in a number of clinical studies1, to inhibit the release of Cortisol, a stress hormone; and stimulate the release of ‘feel good’ neurotransmitters: Serotonin and Dopamine. These biochemical reactions are known to have a positive impact on your mood, to leave you feeling noticeably calmer and more content and in control.

Tension in the neck and shoulders can be the result of both mechanical and emotional causes; including but not limited to repetitive strain, poor posture, stress and anxiety. By pinpointing the key pressure points in these areas we are able to ease the physical tightness.

We use a heated pad at the start of the treatment, which warms your muscles, enabling us to work more deeply and achieve better results. You will feel refreshed; your movement will be freer, and in most cases any pain and tension will be completely alleviated.

Through the use of personalised visual meditation videos; and basic breathing techniques we can help you quickly relax your mind and body to enter a state of calm wellbeing. The mindful mediation breathing exercises we use in the YOLO experience are intended to be easy to practice after the session; anytime you have negative emotions or feel anxious or stressed.
