Home Working Health

If your employees are the core of your organisation, you will recognise that the health and wellbeing of your business is reliant on the safety and health of employees.

60% of employees working from home are using improvised work stations

YOLO Wellbeing Home Working Survey, April 2020

Over 50% of home working employees are suffering from musculoskeletal aches and pains caused by poor posture.

Institute of Employment Studies, April 2020

At YOLO Wellbeing we have created virtual Health and Wellbeing sessions designed specifically to care for your home workers.

They are designed to benefit you, the employer, by motivating, engaging and caring for your workforce; providing them with the skills and tools they need to manage and improve their own health and wellbeing whilst working remotely.

Why choose YOLO Wellbeing Health and Wellbeing sessions for your business?

  • We capture valuable data about the safety and health of your workforce
  • The data is used to deliver interactive training sessions to:
    • Raise awareness of the risks of poor posture
    • Advice on how to make corrections to home working set-ups
    • Tips to help physical and mental health whilst home working
    • Practical stretch and mobilisation session to ease muscle and joint tension
  • You receive a comprehensive evaluation report, with recommendations

We deliver the training sessions live, which helps to increase employee engagement, but also adds a level of social interaction that many home working employees are reporting to be craving.

In our employee questionnaire we use engaging language to capture data on how your teams are working and if it is having an impact on their health and wellbeing, and to what level. For this reason we achieve high response rates (up to 84%), where employees have been invited and not mandated to respond.

Performing DSE Assessments are considered part of your legal responsibility to provide a duty of care to your workforce. Whilst a DSE Assessment will provide you with information about how your employees have set up their home working stations, they don’t tell you if it is impacting employee health and wellbeing. Our employee questionnaires will give you that information, which we will then address in our training and consultations.

Our solutions have proved effective in identifying employees who may be at risk from home working set-ups, enabling businesses to intervene and prevent musculoskeletal injuries from causing long term absence and presenteeism.

YOLO Wellbeing Health and Wellbeing Sessions are not for companies looking to tick a box; we provide solutions that are designed to genuinely help the health and wellbeing of you, your employees and your business.
